About the Role As an Emergency Department Registrar, you'll play an integral role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical, surgical, paediatric, and trauma conditions. Working alongside experienced Emergency Physicians, junior doctors, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to timely, patient-centred emergency care. Key Responsibilities Assess, investigate and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Provide safe, evidence-based clinical care across a broad range of emergency presentations. Perform emergency procedures appropriate to your level of experience. Participate in patient handover and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Escalate complex cases appropriately and work closely with senior medical staff. Maintain accurate, comprehensive clinical documentation. Requirements Current General AHPRA Registration . Previous experience working within an Australian Emergency Department at Registrar level. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong communication, clinical decision-making and teamwork skills. Australian working rights. Pay Rate $100–$180 per hour , depending on shift type, experience, and other relevant factors.
